Preview: Batman #35

Writer: Tom King

Artist: Joelle Jones

A preview of Batman #35 is on the internet. It features Talia and Catwoman in a sword fight across the desert with the fate of Holly Robinson hanging in the balance. Talia also takes time to recount her childhood with Ra’s al Ghul. To say that the immortal Demon’s Head is a terrible father is putting it lightly. Incidentally, it is the 800th issue of Batman. Unfortunately, due to a couple of reboots we do not get any special anniversary celebration. However, we do get a decent Tony Daniel variant cover. The variant can be combined with the variant for Superman‘s 800th issue and Wonder Woman’s 700th. Overall, a super neat effect.
