Last week, we reported that Ben Affleck will be participating in this year’s Red Nose Day Special by doing his Batman voice, and the new Dark Knight delivered on that promise.  Red Nose Day helps fight child poverty around the world.

In the video, we see a child say “I wish that Ben Affleck would do the Batman voice” to which Affleck replied “Your wish is my command” in that intimidating voice we heard in Batman v Superman.

The child then clarifies “Noooo! Do it the way Christian Bale does it!” where a jokingly annoyed Affleck replies again “Your wish is my command!” in a more Bale-like way.

Hilariously, the child says in a disappointed voice “Maybe I just want Christian Bale to do it” and Affleck (now speaking normally) says “Well…he’s unavailable, so…”

It’s always great to see actors having some fun with the characters that they play, and poking fun of themselves a little bit.  Especially after the outcry fans had when Affleck was first cast as Batman after Christian Bale’s brilliant performance in The Dark Knight Trilogy.  Maybe one day we can see the two of them have a conversation using their Batman voices.

It’s also great to see that after the last few months of “will he, won’t he” in regards to playing Batman again after Justice League, he’s still willing to have some fun with the character.

Affleck is scheduled to appear as Batman next in Justice League on November 17th, 2017, though fans might want to keep their eyes open during Wonder Woman next week, just in case.
