DC Releases Solicitations For June 2017

Looks like we’re going to have some questions answered with next June’s upcoming books!

DC Entertainment has just released their solicitations for June in their May preview.

In June, we can expect a continuation and start to some amazing story arcs, such as All Star Batman #12, “The First Ally” part three. Written by the talented Scott Snyder, art by Rafael Albuquerque, and Sebastian Fiumara. Expect some beautiful works from Synder and his team:

DC brings out another one-shot, Dark Days: The Casting #1.

Wow! It seems this one will have a blast of master writers and artists. Written by Scott Snyder and James Tynion IV; art by Jim Lee, Andy Kubert, John Romita Jr., and others. It will present an attack by Joker, who threatens to destroy Batman’s carefully laid out plans. Green Lantern and Duke will be needing some convincing to regain their trust in Batman. He’ll need them on his team to protect the DC universe from falling into darkness. First cover below, so you know what to look out for!

Next Bat-fam feature on the list, Batgirl #13 “Bats and Cats.” Written by Hope Larson, art by Chris Wildgoose, cover by Dan Mora, and variant cover by Joshua Middleton.

Watch out for these kick-butt babes team up on a case. It appears to be a conflict-of-interest for Batgirl, which has caused a disagreement between the Bat and the Cat:

Next from the Batfam: Batwoman #5 “The Many Arms of Death” epilogue. Another special one-off issue, which will give us a sense of history between Kate and Safiya.

Written by Marguerite Bennett and James Tynion IV, art and cover by Stephanie Hans, variant cover by J.G. Jones. The artwork looks gorgeous.

There’s heaps to look forward tp, other popular titles such as Trinity #11, Detective Comics #960-961, Harley Quinn #23-24, will be released. Watch the amazing acrobat, Nightwing, try and escape a sunken submarine in issue 24-25.

The entire catalog can be found here. May you all find the issues you’ve been waiting for!
