‘DC All Access’ App Named Official 2017 Webby Awards Honoree

The DC All Access app, with over a 100,000 downloads, and 4,000 ratings, has been selected by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences as an official honoree for their 2017 Webby Awards. This is a tremendous honor and achievement. The Webby Award Honorees are ranked in the top 17% of all 13,000 entries from all 50 states and over 70 countries. It is the leading international award honoring excellence on the internet in six major media categories, which include websites, film and video, advertising, media and public relations, social, mobile sites and apps, and podcasts and digital audio. This award is presented annually and the judges are composed of over a thousand industry experts and technology innovators.

The app, built for the sole purpose of granting DC fans exclusive news and updates, was launched in 2016. Under the Mobile Sites and Apps – Entertainment category, the DC All Access mobile app provides daily news and updates such as: daily news updates, exclusive material and DC character emojis, movie tickets, fan sweepstakes, giveaways and news, and features on DC’s exclusive properties from movies, TV, games, and comics. In addition, with this free app fans can view videos and photos, be notified of news articles, and take part in challenges, quizzes, and polls.

The app is available for free download on the Apple’s Apps Store® and the Google Play Store.
