Injustice 2 is set for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Android, and iOS on May 16, 2017.
In DC All Access, iZombie’s Rahul Kohli speaks with Netherrealm’s Tyler Lansdown about the upcoming WB Games sequel, as well as shows us some gameplay footage.
Set five years after the events of Injustice, Batman and his insurgency attempt to piece society back together, while struggling against the remnants of Superman’s regime who seek to restore his rule. With several of Batman’s team falling as victims, or acting as collaborators with Superman’s regime, Batman must form a new team to stop Braniac, who seeks to invade Earth.
From the minds who brought us Mortal Kombat, Injustice was a well-received game in 2013. It also achieved a rare feat in fighting games, it told a great story (not to mention the great tie-in comic series). Injustice 2 seeks to up the ante in terms of gameplay by introducing new characters and abilities, as well as continue the now beloved story of Injustice.
Join the battle on May 16th.
