Suicide Squad added another $3.1 million to its domestic box office as it prepares to wind down its theatrical run.

The film dropped 33% from the previous North America weekend take, placing at eighth in this weekend’s box office chart. But do not feel bad for the movie. Its domestic total so far stands at an impressive $318.1 million. This has allowed it to surpass Marvel’s Iron Man 2‘s domestic total of $312 million. Additionally, it is within spitting distance of passing up the first Iron Man movie’s domestic total of $318.4 million. If projections for the film hold up, it will end up in the 13th place in the top domestic gross for a superhero movie, right behind Batman v Superman’s $330.4 million.

Suicide Squad’s foreign run stands at $413.6 million, making the flick’s grand worldwide take $733.7 million. Anyway you cut it, Suicide Squad’s success is a remarkable box office achievement.

Suicide Squad is still playing in theaters.
