‘SNL’ Lands Margot Robbie For Season 42 Premiere

Margot Robbie Suicide Squad Harley Quinn

Margot Robbie will try to get laughs without threatening people like her Harley Quinn persona. The Suicide Squad star will host the 42nd season premiere of Saturday Night Live on October 1.

Robbie was considered the highlight of Warner Bros’ Suicide Squad, the studio’s most recent entry in the DC Extended Universe. The film earned $720.8 million worldwide. Something interesting, Robbie’s fellow Task Force X member/cast mate, Will Smith, has never hosted the sketch comedy series.

The Weeknd will join Robbie as Saturday Night Live’s musical guest. He was also the musical guest when Amy Schumer hosted last year. His new album Starboy is scheduled for release on November 25.
