‘Batman v Superman’ Crosses Another Milestone

Joining the 300 club.

According to Box Office Mojo, Batman v Superman earned itself $1.245 million dollars on Wednesday in the U.S., taking the blockbuster film over the $300 million mark domestically, and surpassing $800 million on a global scale.

This may not seem like earth-shattering news, but despite weak critical reviews, a B Cinemascore and a huge drop in its second weekend, BvS is still making a lot of money. While I enjoyed the movie, I had hoped it would make more than it has at this point. However, with some oversight and adjustments, next year’s Justice League can still be the blockbuster it’s supposed to be.

You can read the DKN team’s review on the film here, and a comprehensive review from our own Eric Joseph here.
