It should be noted that while Kane came up with the basic idea of Batman, the essence of what we think of as Batman was created by Bill Finger. DC has been mostly unable to credit Finger due to a 75-year-old contract, but DC recently made some arrangement to start giving Finger more credit. I realize that since Kane is getting the star he needs to be the focus of the article, but Finger should also be mentioned as a co-creator.
