Batman v. Superman Filming in Deming, New Mexico

As it stands, the “This Week on the BvS Set” may have already ended without my knowledge. Set photos for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice have been scarce after leaving the Chicago set. Last week, with some crew members showing up in New Mexico, it was looking like the shoot had been moved over there, however it wasn’t quite confirmed until earlier this week.

A local news station in New Mexico managed to hover over the same site that was discovered back in October, finding an incredible amount of activity. At the same time, we’re also getting a great look at the set itself.

Take a look:

The video gives us a few good bird’s eye views of the structures and it looks very ancient and rustic, remains of an old temple or city that you would expect to discover in the desert. It’s very mysterious. It was initially speculated to be our live-action Themyscira, but as I’m looking at it now, I really don’t think so.

The video also speaks to many local business owners, helping to confirm that Henry Cavill was on location.

However, it looks like the main stars might have already finished up filming… or they have been granted a quick vacation break now that holiday season is upon us. Henry Cavill was spotted in a gym and a bar in El Paso over the past week. Click here for a large compilation of photos confirming his presence in Texas.

Gal Gadot has also confirmed that she’s on vacation as well, posting a photo of herself paddleboarding in Thailand.

Here is that photo, for journalistic purposes:

So at the moment, two out of three of our live-action Trinity are out on holiday, while filming either takes place or concludes in Deming.

What could that structure be though, if not their version of Paradise Island?
