It’s a good day to be a Wonder Woman fan. Michelle MacLaren (Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead) has signed on to direct the Amazon Princess’ first solo outing on the big screen. The character will make her theatrical debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (March 25, 2016) before getting her own feature. Charles Roven, Zack Snyder, and Deborah Snyder are set to produce.
Wonder Woman, starring Gal Gadot as the titular character, will arrive in theaters June 23, 2017. That’s just two days after my birthday, but belated gifts of this magnitude are just as welcome.
