The Dynamic Duo will be reuniting on ‘Futurama’ during its final season. TV’s ‘Batman’ stars, Adam West and Burt Ward, will be guesting as themselves on the episode ‘Leela and the Genestalk.’ The show, which often features celebrities as disembodied heads, seems to be paying tribute, while mildly ribbing, the pair’s famous roles, with their character designs.
While the classic ‘Batman’ TV series has had legal issues (20th Century Fox owns the rights to the show but WB has control of the characters) it seems that this may be a good faith move to help promote the upcoming digital-first Batman ’66 series. Let us know what you think.
