SDCC 2013: Exclusive Play Arts Kai BATMAN

Over at site Figures they posted up a few pictures of a 10-inch tall exclusive Play Arts Kai Batman metallic black finish figure.

Square Enix reveals their San Diego Comic-Con 2013 exclusive: a Play Arts Kai Batman, re-imagined in a metallic black finish. This 10-inch tall exclusive figure, based on Batman’s look in The Dark Knight Rises, is priced at $64.99 and limited to only 1000 pieces created. The figure comes with alternate sets of hands, various weapons, and a display stand.

The San Diego Comic-Con 2013 EXCLUSIVE BATMAN BLACK METALLIC Ver. is now available for pre-order at Square Enix’s just relaunched official North American merchandise store: If you want to secure your copy, avoid long lines at the show, or simply can’t make it to San Diego Comic-Con, purchase online now.

-Products preordered at the SQUARE ENIX Online Store will be shipped to your provided address, and are not available for onsite pick-up at SDCC 2013.
-Products will not be shipped until July 17th 2013 (Day 1 of SDCC 2013).

After reading this I did some more digging and found out that you can pre-order it off of tfaw at the price of 62.99 and it’s release date is May15, 2013…odd. What do you make out of this news?

I'm a BIG Batman fan. Back in the day I would write scripts and get my friends together to make Batman movies. From real Batman suits to a wide collection of Batman stuff from over the years I have never have grown up when it comes to Batman. White water rafting, playing paintball, just about anything I can get into. I have been in a few different kinds of Martial arts. Sometimes I go hunting on the family farm but its rare.
