From Rolling Stones, they were able to get an exclusive track from Injustice: Gods Among Us. Seattle indie-rockers Minus the Bear are part of the eclectic mix of artists who comprise the soundtrack to the video game Injustice: Gods Among Us. Their track for Injustice is called “Walk on Air,” which trades their usual soothing melodies for a harder feel with powerful guitar riffs and propulsive rhythm. The song sounds cool for the soundtrack and matches very well for the game. Hear the song below, click the play button:
“‘Walk on Air’ fits the superhero vibe oddly well,” singer-guitarist Jake Snider told Rolling Stone. “It’s about how one partner in a relationship can make the other feel great highs and then turn around and bring crushing lows. An eternal battle.”
Other acts on the Injustice soundtrack include Depeche Mode, MSTRKRFT, Killer Mike and AWOLNATION, the latter of whom premiered a track last week. The game will be out on April 16th, with the soundtrack due digitally the same day and April 23rd. Water Tower Music is showcasing everything from their soundtrack and they will also be releasing their original score as well.
