It’s Day 2 of Emerald City Comic Con 2013 and it’s full of Batman writers and artists. The first up is Scott Snyder (writer of Batman) who dishes some plot details out about the next few issues of Batman from Issue #18-21. His protege, James Tynion IV (writer of Talon and soon to be writer of Red Hood & the Outlaws) talks about what’s up next for Talon and where he plans to go with Red Hood & the Outlaws. You can see the clip below about what these writers have in store for the next few issues of their Batman books.

Kyle Higgins (writer of Nightwing) joins the panel to talk about Nightwing. Higgins is excited to have Brett Booth (former artist of Teen Titans) on with him to do Nightwing. You can see the clip below about what Higgins has in store for the next few issues of his run on Nightwing.

Ethan Van Sciver (former artist of Green Lantern) has begun his artwork run on Batman: The Dark Knight #17 with Gregg Hurwitz (current writer of Batman: The Dark Knight). Sciver thanks David Finch (current artist of Justice League of America and former artist of Batman: The Dark Knight) for doing amazing art before Sciver’s run on the comic book title. Gail Simone is also on the panel and she talks about her darker turn of Batgirl for the next few issues. You can see the clip below about what these writers have in store for the next few issues of their Batman books.

James Robinson (writer of Earth 2) dishes out about the first annual of Earth 2. Kevin Maguire (former artist of World’s Finest) joins the panel to talk abotu something huge coming up for World’s Finest. You can see the clip below about what these writers have in store for the next few issues of their Batman books.

Also at Emerald City Comic Con are a couple of variant covers that you can purchase there. They have the “Death of a Family” variant cover of Bruce Wayne’s die cut cover with a green background in celebration of Emerald City Comic Con 2013. Basically, the month of May will hold some heavy packed issues and this might be around the time WTF Certified issues will be out. It’s exciting isn’t?
