Muse reveals that Hans Zimmer is the key influence of their new album, The 2nd Law.  The album has a very cinematic tone influenced by Hans Zimmer. Here’s what Matt Bellamy has to say about the composer:

He’s the greatest film composer of recent times. That song ‘The 2nd Law’, you can definitely hear some Hans Zimmer influence.
