Bruce Wayne will never be broke and he has us to thank for that.  This past weekend the worldwide box office for IMAX generated 15 million and with that Warner Bros and IMAX Corp announced that The Dark Knight Rises has become the fastest movie in history to surpass the 50 million mark in just 10 days.

“We’ve crossed the $50 million mark in the fastest time ever with The Dark Knight Rises, lifted, in part, by exceptional international box office.  Audiences are clearly seeking out and embracing the film the way it was meant to be seen – in IMAX. We are pleased by the second-weekend results and believe the film will continue to have the legs we anticipated.” -IMAX CEO Richard L. Gelfond

How many of you have contributed to this number?  If you haven’t, shame on you!  Just kidding.  But really if you haven’t seen Rises in IMAX and you plan on seeing it again or if you haven’t seen it at all, you should go experience it this way it makes all the difference.
